Robert L. "Bob" Wright

Robert L. "Bob" Wright of Oleta passed away August 23, 2004, in Antlers. He was 78. He was a heavy equipment operator and had worked on pipeline construction; He was a warehouseman at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City for six years. He was a World War II Army veteran and was of the Baptist faith. Bob loved life and especially enjoyed giving people a "hard time." He was actively involved in politics and enjoyed ballgames.
He was born August 28, 1926 in Okmulgee and had lived most of his life in the Oleta area. He married Louise Anderson on October 10, 1953 in Stillwater. He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen Hubert Wright and Mary (Kendrick) Wright Stokes; his daughter, Margie Ann Wright; one brother, William Wright and two sisters, Eugenia Almond and Juanita Marsh.
Surviving relatives: His wife, Louise Wright; two sons, Raymond Allen Wright of Oleta and Eugene Wright of McArthur, Calif.; six grandchildren.
Mr. Wright will lie in state from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2004 at the funeral home. No services are planned.
