Mandy Couch

Funeral services for Mandy Couch of Hugo were held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 2, 2004, at Miller & Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Armes officiating. Interment was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Mrs. Couch died July 29, 2004, at her home in Hugo. She was 83. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
She was born May 5, 1921 in Cedar Creek, Ark., the daughter of Gatus Fox and Annie (Williams) Fox and had lived all of her life in the Hugo area. Mandy liked gardening, working outside and fishing. She married James Lee Couch on November 25, 1939. He preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, James Glen Couch and Gatus Lee Couch; one brother, George Fox; one sister, Eula Johnson; one grandson, Donald Ray Myers; and one great granddaughter, Amy Beth Anderson.
Surviving relatives: one son, Matt Thomas Couch of Aztec, N.M.; two daughters, Velma Myers and Glenda Young, both of Hugo; one brother, Harold Fox; two sisters, Hazel Taylor of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Fay Taylor of Sulphur Springs, Texas; 18 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
Services under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home - Hugo.
