Jewel Thelma Dill

Funeral services for Jewel Thelma Dill of Hugo, formerly of Rufe, were held at 2 p.m. August 20, 2005, at Huckleberry Funeral Service “Memory Chapel” in Valliant with Rev. Bob Thornburgh officiating. Interment was in Ft. Towson Cemetery.

Mrs. Dill died August 18, 2005, at Choctaw Memorial Hospital in Hugo. She was 85. She was born May 1, 1920 to Jim and Gertha Christian. She was a retired nurse, and worked well past retirement age to be of service to others. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ed Dill in 1985; one son, Donald Dill in 1969.Surviving relatives: Three sons, Jim Dill of Rufe, Bobby Dill of Denton, Texas, and Tommy Dill of Antlers.

Visitation was held on Friday, August 19, 2005, at Huckleberry Funeral Service in Valliant.
