Donald Chris Gilmore

Graveside services for Donald Chris Gilmore of Hugo were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 18, 2005, at Grant Cemetery in Grant, Okla., with Reverend Mike Bryant officiating.
Mr. Gilmore died Thursday, July 14, 2005, in Hugo. He was 60.Donald Chris Gilmore was born and raised in Hugo on February 2, 1945 to Walter Jones and Naomi (Thompson) Stovall. He returned to Hugo three years ago from Houston, Texas. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Naomi Stovall; two brothers, Larry Jones and Gary “Mickey” Jones.
He is survived by three sons, Bryan Gilmore and wife Mackie of Alpine, Texas, Kenneth Gilmore of Anchorage, Alaska, and John Gilmore of Los Angeles, Calif.; two daughters, Donna Johnson and husband David of Port Townsend, Wash., and Diann Gilmore of Los Angeles, Calif.; seven grandchildren; one uncle, Norris Thompson and wife Edna of Hugo; one aunt, Ethel Cox and husband Gerald of Hubbard, Texas; one niece, Kathy Burchfield of Ft. Towson and one nephew, Kevin Jones of Houston, Texas.
Family received friends on Sunday, July 17, 2005 at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
