Jeremy “Hash” Himes

Graveside services for Jeremy “Hash” Himes of Hugo were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 11, 2005 in Shoat Springs Cemetery in Hugo with Kelly Thomas officiating.

Mr. Himes died August 6, 2005. He was 27. He was a carpenter and was of the Baptist faith.

He was born December 19, 1977 in Amhurst, Texas and had lived all of his life in the Hugo area. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working with horses, playing with his children, watching “The Fox and the Hound,” and having fun. Jeremy will be truly missed by all that knew him. His grandfather, Bobby Joe Johnson, preceded him in death. He married Tasha Thomas on April 16, 1997 in Hugo.

SURVIVING RELATIVES: His wife, Tasha; two sons, Nolan Himes and Brody Himes; one daughter, Kelli Rhae Himes; his father, Jimmy Himes of Grant; his mother, Audrey Johnson of Haworth; one brother, Bobby Johnson of Hugo; his maternal grandmother, Louise Johnson of Hugo and his paternal grandparents, Paul and Patsy Himes of Grant.

Family received friends from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at the funeral home. Miller & Miller Funeral Home –Hugo
