Jack Hudson

    Funeral services for Jack Hudson of Spencerville were held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2005, at Spencerville Community Church in Spencerville with Bro. Troy Blue officiating. Interment was in Spencerville Cemetery.

    Mr. Hudson died March 28, 2005, in Paris, Texas. He was 81. He was a mechanic and was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

    He was born May 8, 1923 in Spencerville, the son of Charlie Hudson and Mary (Parson) Hudson and had lived most of his life in Spencerville. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister: Estelle Wyatt. Jack liked gardening, hunting and fishing and loved spending time with his family and friends.

    SURVIVING RELATIVES: his wife: Geneva Hudson; four sons: Alton James of Spencerville, Jackie Hudson of Spencerville, Jimmy Hudson of Rattan and Tony Hudson of Cloudy; one daughter: Betty Hudson of Spencerville; five brothers-in-law and four sisters-in law; 22 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
