John Henry Jones Rites Are Pending

John Henry Jones of Boswell passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mae Jackson, at 4:50 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, according to a report from Coffey Funeral Home. Funeral services are pending at this time and interment will be in the Boswell cemetery.

Mr. Jones was born on January 27, 1879, in Montgomery County, Arkansas, thus being 70 years old at the time of his death. He was a retired farmer and had lived in the Boswell community for the past thirty years.

He is survived by his children, Mrs. Mae Jackson, Boswell; Elzie Jones, Durant, Mrs. Marie Williams Virginia; Toni Jones, Los Angeles, Calif.; Homer Jones, Mich.; Mrs. Coy Hardesty, Wyo.; Mrs. Virgie Roberts, Oregon, and Mrs. Coy Mildraugh, Sulphur, along with the following brothers and sisters: Willie Jones, Calif.; Gilford Jones, Bennington; Mrs. Polly Little, Arkansas.

The News joins with his many friends in expressing condolence to the relatives of the deceased.
