Phyllis June (Story) McLemore

Funeral services for Phyllis June (Story) McLemore of Fort Towson were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 28, 2005, at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Valliant with Sister Georgie Harrison officiating, assisted by Sister Millie Harrison. Interment was in Moran Cemetery in Valliant.

Mrs. McLemore died July 25, 2005, in Oklahoma City. She was 50. She was a manager and clerk in a convenience store. She was of the Baptist faith.

Phyllis was born January 12, 1955 in Hugo, the daughter of Richard Story and Geraldine (Weaver) Cunningham. She married Charles McLemore on February 14, 2001 in Fort Towson. Phyllis enjoyed quilting, watching television, playing with her grandchildren and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

SURVIVING RELATIVES: Her husband, Charles McLemore of Fort Towson; one son, Tony Roberts of Idabel; one daughter, Tracy Bell of Fort Towson; two brothers, Gary Story of Fort Towson, and Larry Cunningham of Valliant; one sister, Debbie Gabacik of Whitesboro, Texas; and seven grandchildren.

The family received friends from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2005 in the funeral home.
