    Funeral services for Mildred D. Nicklow of Soper were held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2005, at Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, Pa., with Rev. Douglas Baker officiating. Interment was in Kingwood IOOF Cemetery in Markleton, Pa. Memorial services to be held in Soper will be announced at a later date.

    Mrs. Nicklow died March 29, 2005, at Choctaw Memorial Hospital. She was 86.Mildred D. Nicklow was born February 17, 1919 in Markleton, Pa., the daughter of Harry and Lola (Trimpey) Dwire. She moved to Soper with her daughter Judy Clevenger Hoffman in May of 2004. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of Kingwood Rebekah Lodge 575 and of the Old Bethel Church of God. She was formerly employed at Henry's of New Centerville and Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Harold Nicklow in 1994.Surviving relatives: Daughter, Judy Clevenger Hoffman of Soper; son, Barry W. Nicklow of Garner, N. Car.; sister, Dorothy Leer of Rockwood, Pa.; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one step great-granddaughter; one step great-great-granddaughter.
