Death Claims Mrs. Margaret J. Oakes

    Mrs. Margaret J. Oakes, of Soper, died this morning following an extended illness. She was 84 years old.
    Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the First Methodist church in Soper with Rev. G. C. Crowell officiating. Burial will be in the Soper cemetery.
    Surviving her are three sons: Ed Oakes, Hugo; Daniel W. Oakes, Soper; Thomas J. Oakes, Holdenville; and two daughters, Mrs. Sue Morris and Mrs. Rosa Ward, both of Soper.
    Snow funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
