Hazel Pool

Mrs. Hazel Pool, a resident of Hugo, died today at Choctaw Memorial Hospital.

She was 83.

She was a homemaker by occupation and was a member of the Church of Christ.

Mrs. Pool was born July 29, 1905 in Hendrix, Okla., the daughter of John B. and Mary Alice Stiles. She had lived in this area most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Pool, in 1971.

Survivors include three sons; William Pool, Jr. of Dallas, Texas, Ed Pool of Hugo and Gene Pool of Sawyer, Okla.; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Shoat Springs Cemetery. Bill Rhodes will officiate.

The Lampton-Mills and Coffey Funeral Home of Hugo is in charge of arrangements.
