Betty Redwine

Betty Ann Redwine, age 76, died after a short battle with lung cancer on Thursday, July 21, 2005, at Paris Regional Medical Center. As per her final wishes, she will be cremated with no funeral service planned. Family visitation was at the home of Sonja Wade 4145 Enchanted Drive in Paris on Monday, July 25, 2005 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Betty is survived by her daughter Sonja Wade and husband Mike of Paris, grandchildren Cody and Colton Wade of Paris, Texas; daughter Linda Adds of Paris, Texas; granddaughter Aundrea Holder of Fort Worth, Texas and daughter-in-law Gem Davis of Hugo. She also leaves behind her beloved dog Dino. Betty was born on September 6, 1928 in Durant to Truman L. Clark and Geraldine “Gertie” Spears Clark. She was an only child. She lived in the Spears Community many years and then in Hugo until her death. Betty was a retired nurse and began her career at the Sanatarium in Paris. Then she worked at McCuistion Regional Medical Center until her retirement in 1977. She attended the First Christian Church in Hugo. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, an uncle Lucien Spears and her son Gary Wheeler.
