Ruth Sales Wallace

Funeral services for Ruth Sales Wallace of Hugo will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 21, 2005, at Miller & Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mutt Wallace officiating. Interment will be in Fort Towson Cemetery - Fort Towson, Okla.

Mrs. Wallace died July 17, 2005, in Hugo. She was a homemaker and had worked as secretary/receptionist for Miller & Miller Funeral Home for the past five years. Member of Faith Way Baptist in Rufe.

Ruth was born March 10, 1936 in Fort Towson, the daughter of Ira Lee Sales and Nancy Katherine “Kate” (Watterson) Sales. She married Edward “Mutt” Wallace in October 1954. Her family and friends will sorely miss her. She was preceded in death by her parents.

SURVIVING RELATIVES: Her loving husband of 50 years, Bro. Mutt Wallace; 2 sons, Robert Wallace of Hugo, and Nicky Wallace of Kingston; 2 daughters, Katherine Gray of Hugo, and Susie Cunningham of Hebron, Ohio; one sister, Irene Bradley of Hugo; 2 brothers; Bill Burris of Fort Towson, and Ray Sales of Huffman, Texas; 15 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2005 in the funeral home.
