Russell Watson

     Services for Russell Watson were held Saturday, Aug. 14, 2004 at 2 p.m. in the Southside Baptist Church in Hugo. Mr. Watson died Thursday, Aug. 12, 2004 in Hugo. He was 83.
     Russell was born on July 22, 1921 in Hugo, Ok., to Judge and Laura (Owens) Watson. He married Virginia Banks on Nov. 6, 1943 in Fallon, Okla. He had lived in Hugo all of his life and had worked as a lineman. He was preceded in death by his parents.
     Surviving relatives include his wife, Virginia, of the home, one son, Jimmie Don Watson, of Hugo; two grandchildren, Kimberly Bush of Hugo and Ellen Watson of Yukon, Okla.; one great-granddaughter, Barbara Ann May, Durant, Okla.
     Burial was in the Messer Cemetery under the direction of Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home of Hugo.
