The Hugo Daily News, Hugo, Choctaw, OK; Issue: Wed, 10 Dec 1975

    Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Assembly of God Church at Soper for Mark Elmer Wharton, 75, of Soper. Burial will follow in the Sugar Creek Cemetery.
    Wharton died Tuesday at Pushmataha County Hospital in Antlers.
    Survivors include his wife, Beulah Wharton; two sons, Roy Wharton of Texas; Vincent Wharton of Ark.; two daughters, Louise Slaton of Hugo and Margie Johnson of Soper; two grandsons, Michael and Tommy Wharton of the home address; two brothers; two sisters; 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
    Arrangements are under the direction of Coffey Funeral Home of Hugo.
