BORN: APRIL 18, 1928 DIED: SEPTEMBER 10, 1990

Earnest Beene, 62, Swink, passed away September 10, 1990, at his home in Swink. Services were held Wednesday, September 12 at the Swink Baptist Church. Rev. Dean George officiated and burial was in Swink Cemetery under direction of Lampton-Mills and Coffey Funeral Home of Hugo.

Born April 18, 1928 in Swink, the son of Alfred and Janey Stinnett Beene, he had lived in the Swink area all of his life. He was married to Gwen White, February 8, 1950, in Hugo. He was a cattleman and a rancher.

Survivors include his wife, Gwen, of the home; three sons, Jack and Bob Beene, both of Swink and Doug Beene of Valliant; two brothers, Carl and Leo Beene, of Swink; three sisters, Gracie White, Lillie Kellum and Hazel Samuels all of Midwest City, OK; nine grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
