BETCHER, LILLIAN MISSOURI (TATUM)

Graveside services for Lillian Missouri (Tatum) Betcher will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Moran Cemetery in Valliant. Harold Stanley will officiate the ceremony. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Miller & Miller Funeral Home in Hugo.
Lillian Missouri (Tatum) Betcher died Oct. 29, 2002 in Broken Bow. She was 63.
Lillian was born March 23, 1939 in Valliant to James Noah Tatum and Ula (Tidmore) Tatum and had lived most of her life in McCurtain County.
Lillian loved birdwatching, quilting and crocheting and was famous for her hugs and kisses and homemade biscuits.
She is survived by one daughter, Sheila White of Fort Towson; three sons, James Crumpler of Bedford, Ind., Shawn Crumpler of Colorado Springs, Colo. and Michael Crumpler of Amarillo, Texas; three sisters, Willa Mae Stanley of Texarkana, Texas, Ellen Harrington of Broken Bow and Joyce Carter, also of Broken Bow; two brothers, Ben Tatum of Broken Bow and Ray Tatum of Bald Knob, Ark.; ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
