BORN: APRIL 18, 1934 DIED: JUNE 24, 2002

James Elisha Burchfield of Paris, formerly of Sawyer, Okla.., died Monday, June 24, 2002 in Paris.

Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Thursday, June 27 in Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mutt Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in Fort Towson Cemetery in Fort Towson, Okla., under the direction of Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Erma Jean Burchfield of Paris; five sons, Jimmy and Mike Burchfield of Sawyer, Okla., Greg Burchfield, Eddie Burchfield and Phillip Burchfield of Hugo, Okla.; two step-sons, Billy Wayne Brakebill of Idabel, Okla. and Jimmy Brakebill of Paris; one daughter, Kay Allen of Wylie; two step-daughters, Debbie Oakes of Hugo, Okla. and Tammy Moore of Paris; four sisters, Mary Gladys Smith of Arkansas City, Kan., Bobbie Burchfield of Sawyer, Okla., Stella Babb and Pattie June Herd, both of Tulsa, Okla.; 22 grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
