BORN: JANUARY 3, 1915 DIED: AUGUST 19, 2004

Graveside services for Mildred Bush, 89, of Andrews, Texas, were at 3 p.m. Friday at the Ector County Cemetery.

Mrs. Bush passed away Thursday, Aug. 19, 2004.

She was born Jan. 3, 1915, in Fort Towson, Okla.

She was a Gold Star Mother, whose son, Sgt. Wade Ramsay, was killed in combat in Korea.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Rayburn Ramsay and Clyde Bush; and by a son, Sgt. Wade Ramsay of the U.S. Marine Corp.

Survivors include her son, Jack Ramsay of Andrews; five sisters, Frieda Kirkland of Weatherford, Evolue Green of Odessa, and Jean White, Nancy Parson and Juanelle Harris, all of Lamesa; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
