Barry Carpenter, 44, of Fort Towson, Okla., died Thursday, July 31, 2002.

Graveside services are set for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, 2002, in the Sobol Cemetery with Bro. Bob Thornburgh officiating. Miller & Miller Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his parents, Eldon and Jane Carpenter of Fort Towson, Okla.; one son, John Caleb Carpenter of Hugo; three stepchildren, Cris Quesenberry, Sharla Quesenberry and Sarah Quesenberry, all of Hugo; two sisters, Ann Clements of Duncan Mills, Calif., and Sue Simmons of Sapulpa, Okla.; and three nieces and nephews.
