CLARK, JAMES FRANKLIN “JIM”

BORN: MARCH 15, 1975 DIED: JULY 24, 1998
James Franklin “Jim” Clark, 22, of Swink, died Friday, July 24, 1998, in Choctaw County. He was born March 15, 1976 in Texarkana, Texas.
Clark lived his early childhood in Idabel before moving to Fort Towson where he attended school. He graduated with the Fort Towson High School Class of 1994. Clark was affiliated the Redland Methodist Church. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator.
Jim was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Carl Williams and Frank Clark and by an uncle, James Carl Williams.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Sharon and Mark Helms, Idabel; his father, Jimmy Frank Clark, Daisy, his maternal grandmother, Lorrie Williams, Idabel; his paternal grandparents, Minnie Lee Clark of Daisy, and Brian Dean Clark of Long Beach, California; several aunts and uncles, Shirley and John Huffman, Edmond; Gail and Frank Rhoades, Deport, Texas; Tammy and Alvin Jamerson, Millerton; Mike and Linda Helms, Idabel; Jack and Rose Williams, Dodge City, Kansas; Tony Williams, Wharton, Texas; and Tommy and Virginia Clark, Daisy; and his grandparents, James and Mary Helms, Tablerville.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Redland First Baptist Church with Rev. Bennie Hammons and Rev. Bruce Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Redland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Redland Methodist Church Building Fund or the McCurtain County Foster Care Fund, in care of the First State Bank of Idabel.
