CONINE, BOB F.

BORN: FEBRUARY 13, 1931 DIED: NOVEMBER 18, 2004

Private services will be held for Tracy resident Bob F. Conine, 73, who died Thursday at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital.

Born in Hugo, Okla., Mr. Conine lived in Tracy 30 years and previously resided in Pleasanton.

He was retired from sales in the food business and had farmed walnuts in Tracy. Mr. Conine was a veteran of the Korean War who served with the U.S. Marine Corps. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren and family and will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather, and a friend to many.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Genevieve Conine of Tracy; children Rusty Conine, and his wife, Kelli, and Cindy Conine, all of Salinas, Matt Scarlata, and his wife, Kim, of Stockton, and Jonathan Scarlata of Oakland; son-in-law Mark Robinson of Tracy; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by children Steve Conine and Janet Robinson.

Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., is handling arrangements.
