Zelpha Dozier, 81, of Wright City died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001 at McCurtain Memorial Hospital, Idabel.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, at Corinth Baptist Church, Fort Towson, with the Rev. Benny Hammons officiating. Burial will be in Slater Memorial Cemetery in Wright City by Miller and Miller Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Surviving are her husband, Emmitt “Chuck” Piearcy; daughters, Willa Dean David and husband Arville of Fort Towson, Mary McGough and husband Sam of Wright City; two sisters, Mary Childers of Fort Towson and Desma Mendoza and husband Paul of Fort Towson; a brother, Ishmael Taylor and wife Margaret of Slidell, La.; 10 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
