GREENWALT, CHARITY MAE (SCOTT)

BORN: AUGUST 9, 1911 DIED: MAY 22, 1993

Funeral services for Charity M. Greenwalt of Fort Towson will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. Greenwalt died Saturday at St. Michael’s Hospital in Texarkana, Arkansas. She was 81.

Charity was born August 9, 1911 to Phillip Joseph and Alvie (Jackson) Scott in Arkansas.

She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Greenwalt and her son, Richard Greenwalt.

She is survived by one brother, Jeff Scott of Fort Towson; one sister, Oprah Smith of Bridgeport, Illinois; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews and two great-great-great nieces.

The services will be officiated by Rev. Mutt Wallace. Mrs. Greenwalt will be buried at Fort Towson Cemetery under the direction of Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home.
