HARTSELL, OIE LESTER “O.L.”

Oie Lester “O.L.” Hartsell, 95, of Hugo died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2002, in Ardmore, Okla.

Graveside services are set for Thursday, Dec. 12, at 11:30 a.m. at Orr Cemetery near Ringling, Okla., under the direction of Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home.

He was born in Columbia County, Ark., on Sept. 17, 1907, to Ersie Samuel and Dora Rustion Hartsell. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He married Waunita Hawkins in 1938 in Ringling. He was a transport driver for Grandike Transport, and had been a resident of the Hugo community since 1948.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Waunita; and one daughter, Delores Davis Hartsell on Dec. 7, 2002.

Survivors include one granddaughter, Rita Davis of Hugo.
