Archie Hawthorne, 91, of Fort Towson died Sunday, June 17, 2001, in Choctaw Memorial Hospital.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2001 at Fort Towson Cemetery Chapel with the Rev. Bennie Hammons officiating, Miller and Miller Funeral Home will make burial in Fort Towson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Surviving are two sons, Royce Hawthorne of Bakersfield, Calif. and Bud Hawthorne of Fort Towson; sisters, Ima Carper of Salida, Calif. and Edith Perrin of Visalia, Calif.; two grandchildren, Michael Hawthorne of Madill and Connie Money of Bakersfield, Calif.; six great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
