BORN: DECEMBER 29, 1929 DIED: OCTOBER 8, 1998

Lina Jackson, 68, died Thursday, Oct. 8, 1998, in Amarillo.

Services will be at 3 p.m. today in First Baptist Church of Wheeler with the Rev. Kerry Moore of Briscoe officiating. Cremation and arrangements are by Wright Funeral Home of Wheeler.

Mrs. Jackson was born in Papenrode, Germany. She moved to Wheeler in 1978 from Coldwater, Kan. She was a homemaker and attended First Baptist Church of Wheeler.

She married Richard Roy Jackson in 1944 in Germany.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1995 and by three sons, Michael David Jackson in 1957, Thomas Jackson in 1992, and Jim Jackson in 1998.

Survivors include two sons, Bill Jackson of Lubbock and Patrick Jackson of Oakridge, N.J.; four daughters, Rose Marie McKinley of Ft. Towson, Okla., Nancy Webb of Carthage, MO., and Terry Jackson and Katie Gallardo, both of Wheeler; 17 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Parkview Hospital.
