Graveside services for Geneva Alice Jones will be held Thursday, June 28, 1996, at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo. Services are under the direction of Bill Merritt Funeral Service of Bethany, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Jones was born August 16, 1900 in Pattonville, Lamar County, Texas. As a young child she moved with her family to Soper, Oklahoma. She married Rupert L. Jones and lived in Soper until 1933 when she moved to Antlers, Oklahoma, where she lived for 50 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church. In 1984, she moved to Oklahoma City to live with her son Rupert L. Jones, Jr. and his wife, Doris.

Mrs. Jones passed away June 24, 1996 in the Bryant Nursing Center in Edmond at the age of 95.

Surviving relatives include her son and daughter-in-law: R.L. and Doris Jones; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
