Joshua Hilton Lanier, 18, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2003, at his home.

Joshua was born Oct. 4, 1984, in Longview, Texas. He was a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School and a member of First Baptist Church, Valliant, Okla.

Survivors include his parents, Johnny and Kim Lanier of Texarkana; two sisters, Elizabeth Lanier and Bethany Lanier of Texarkana; his grandmother, Wilma Walls of Rufe, Okla.; his grandparents, Don and Lois Lanier of Swink, Okla.; his great-grandfather, James Elvis Tidmore of Valliant; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 1 p.m. today at First Baptist Church, Moores Lane with Mike Beck and Kevin Spurgin officiating. Graveside services will be 5 p.m. in Valliant Cemetery, Valliant, under direction of East Funeral Home, Moores Lane.
