DIED: NOVEMBER 24, 2003

Hattie Lee Leonard, 90, of Paris died Monday, Nov. 24, 2003, in Paris Skilled Nursing Facility.

Graveside services are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, in Evergreen Cemetery with Pastor Joe McWilliams officiating. Gene Roden’s Sons Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, at Gene Roden’s Sons Funeral Home.

She was born Oct. 22, 1913, in Fort Towson, Okla., the daughter of Robert Claude and Willie Pearl Kilburn Richardson. She married Earl Leonard on Dec. 24, 1934, in Lamar County. She was a homemaker and the oldest living charter member of Paris Seventh Day Adventist Church.

We already miss her wonderful cooking, sewing and crocheting, gardening and her love for us and her friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1980; daughters, Earlene Parson and Patsy Frazier and husband, Grady; daughter-in-law, Kathy Leonard; brothers, Jesse, Billy, Lester and Paul Richardson; sister, Marie Brackeen; grandson, Ronald Beaver Dockrey; and a great-grandson, Larry DeGiulio.

Survivors include her daughters, Judy Dockrey and husband, Ronald, of Roxton, Peggy Penn and husband, Glynn, of Sumner and Debbie Thompson and husband, Scott, of Paris; son, Billy Leonard of Paris; brother, T.J. Richardson of Tucson, Ariz.; sisters, Edwina Seiler of Paris and Ollie Baxter of Fort Worth; 20 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
