J.B. Luna, 88, died at his home in Fort Towson, Friday, Jan. 25, 2002

Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, 2002, at Mt. Olive Funeral Home Chapel with George Peterson and LaRon Branson officiating. Burial was in Moran Cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, Ouieda; two granddaughters that have been raised as daughters, Jennifer and Kimberly Cochran of the home; a son, Joe Luna of Oklahoma City; a daughter, Flossie Luna of Hugo; two brothers, Clyde and Millard Luna, both of Swink; three sisters, Eula Fay Caldwell of Gatesville, Ruth Bagstead of Fort Worth and Virginia Hines of Las Vegas, Nev.; four granddaughters and two great-grandsons.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Wendell and Paul Luna, one daughter, Delphine Cochran; and one granddaughter, Laquinta Beth Cochran.
