DIED: NOVEMBER 13, 2001
Dale Clifford “Cliff” McComb, 48, of Paris died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2001, at Christus St. Joseph’s Hospital South.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, in Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tiny Freelen and the Rev. John Holley officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be friends from Turner Pipe.
He was born Jan. 10, 1953, in San Bernadino, Calif., to Dale McComb, Jr. and Jean Snead McComb. He was an employee of Turner Pipe International. He attended Paris Junior College for two years, attended North Texas for one year, and graduated from East Texas State University after two years. He worked for Human Resources with children and enjoyed taking them on trips. He loved archeology and was a collector of artifacts. He was a loving father and son.
Surviving are his father, Dale McComb, Jr.; his mother, Jean McComb; a sister, Denise Moore and husband Rex; sons, Brandon Chad McComb, Bryan Cody McComb, and Austin Cody McComb; a grandmother, Martha Knight of Dansville, Mich; two aunts, Mary Loar and Nadean David, both of Fort Towson, two nephews, and several cousins.
