McKELVEY, WHITNEY LYNN

Whitney Lynn McKelvey, 11, of Bagwell went home to be with her Heavenly Father Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004, the result of an automobile accident in Rufe, Okla.

A celebration of her life is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home. Interment follows in Leesville Cemetery. The Rev. Randy Fair will conduct the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

The family receives friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

She was born Sept. 23, 1993, the daughter of Robert, Jr. and Jamie Ellis McKelvey. She was a fifth grade student at Detroit Middle School.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert McKelvey, Sr.

She is survived by her father and step-mother, Robert McKelvey, Jr. and Dana Allensworth McKelvey of Rufe, Okla; her mother, Jamie Ellis McKelvey of Bagwell; brother, Ryan McKelvey of Bagwell; step-brothers, Chase and Cord Gambol, of Rufe; half sister, Chaley McKelvey of Rufe; grandparents, the Rev. Jimmy and Christine Ellis of Bagwell; grandmother, Beth McKelvey, of Manchester; great-grandmother, Bobbie Ellis of Rio Vista; great-grandfather, David Earley Sr. of Rio Vista.
