Amanda Marie Miller, 81, Valliant, died on May 13, 1993, at 8:00 p.m. in Idabel. Ms. Miller was a tavern operator, she operated Marie’s Bar in Valliant and was affiliated with Jesus Name.

Ms. Miller is survived by three sons, Ray Miller of Idabel, OK; Voyen Miller of Valliant, OK; and Bobby Miller of Valliant, OK; one daughter, Jeannie Miller of Valliant, OK; three brothers, Herman Box of Tulelake, CA; Loyd Box of Tulelake, CA: and John Box of Valliant, OK; four sisters, Millie Tatum of Valliant, OK; Ila Mae Rhodes of Eureka, CA; Joyce Morgan of Eureka, CA; and Betty Rhea of Albany, OR; thirteen grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on May 17, 1993 at 11:00 a.m. at the Slim Church of Christ in Valliant, with brother J. W. Stidham officiating. Burial was at Valliant Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were done by Huckleberry Funeral Service of Valliant.
