Billy Gene Milton, 55, of Hugo died Tuesday, July 8, 1997, at Horizon Specialty Hospital, Dallas.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 1997 at the Wayside Church Of God In Christ with the Rev. Bernie Graham officiating. Maxey Funeral Home will make burial in Fairland-Littlejohn Cemetery.

He was born March 27, 1942, in Paris to Joe and Marie Malone Milton. He has served in the Marine Corps.

Surviving are a son, Joe Milton III of Oklahoma City; daughters, Marion Milton of Dallas, Farrah Milton and Angel Milton, both of Hugo; sisters, Patricia Milton of Paris and Gerri Vaugh of Fort Worth; brothers, Thomas Milton of Paris, James McDonald and Larry Coursey, both of Fort Worth.

Pallbearers will be Billy Daniels, Cleo Hayden Sr., Sheffield Hayden Jr. Jimmy Booker and L.A. Thomas.
