Daniel Kellum Mitchell, 89, of Wright City, died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2002, in Antlers.

Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home will conduct services at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, at the Rufe Cemetery with the Rev. Hershell Reed and Thomas Cockerham officiating.

Surviving are a son and his wife, Melvin and Wanda Mitchell of Rufe; three daughters and their husbands, Mary and Dee Knight of Bonham; Hazel and Bob Gipson of Rufe, and Laverne and Michael Elliott of Wright City; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death his wife, Altie in 1994; two sisters; two brothers; an infant daughter, and three infant sons.
