Lena Nethery, 92, Idabel, passed away today, April 5, 2005, at Idabel. She was born October 3, 1912, at Tom.

Lena was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing. She was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Rendy Goodman Blocker; her husbands, Foster Otwell and Earnest Nethery; her sons, Donnie Otwell and Joseph Otwell; a brother, Thomas Blocker; and her sisters, Mattie Scott and Mary Wise.

Lena is survived by her sisters, Willie Cottrell, Idabel and Cynthia Harbor, Tom; her daughters-in-law, Dorothy Otwell, Idabel, and Karlene Otwell, Corpus Christi, Texas; several nieces, nephews and other relatives; and a host of friends.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 7, 2005, in the Fort Towson Cemetery with the Rev. Oscar Wilkie officiating.
