Dwight Parker, 66, longtime resident of Hugo, Okla., died Friday, Dec. 28, 2001, in Bossier City, La.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, at Prater-Lampton-Mills and Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31 at First Baptist Church of Hugo with the Rev. Doug McClure officiating. Interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Hugo.

Parker was born May 20, 1935 to Fred and Mary Jane Locke Parker. He married Alice Jeannene Boyd on June 1, 1956 in Lubbock. He was the owner and operator of Parker Trucking Company in Hugo, where he lived for over 30 years and attended First Baptist Church.

He is survived by a son, Randy Parker of Plano; three brothers, Adrian Parker and Carroll Parker of Hugo and Jim Parker of Slaton, Texas; two sisters, Shelva Wesley and Ann Shannon of Hugo, and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeannene Boyd Parker,* his parents and one sister, Maleace Hall.
