DIED: JULY 5, 2003

Gladys Peebles, 79, of Fort Towson, Okla., died Saturday, July 5, 2003.

Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Monday, July 7, in Corinth Baptist Church with the Rev. Troy Ruffin and the Rev. Ronnie Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Towson Cemetery under direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dink Peebles, three brothers and seven sisters.

Survivors include two daughters, Jean Setzer and Elvie Jo “Sissie” Peebles; four grandchildren, Lanette Davis, Troy Logan, J.D. Setzer and Don Setzer; nine great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
