DIED: AUGUST 28, 2003
Lawrence Perry, 67, of Brookston passed Thursday, Aug. 28, 2003, at his home.
Funeral services are set for 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, at the Maxey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. R.L. Clark officiating. Interment will be made in Spring Hill Cemetery in Hugo, Okla., under the direction of Maxey Funeral Home.
He was born Oct. 19, 1935, to R.P. Perry and Virginia McClure Perry in Hugo, Choctaw County, Okla.
He attended Plainview Elementary and Booker T. Washington High School. He worked many jobs including Okla. Linen Services, mechanic and farming and ranching. He was a loving father and was always ready to help anyone who asked him.
He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Virginia McClure Perry of the home; his wife, Annie J. Perry; two brothers, Vernon Perry and Raymond Perry; three sisters, Glena Perry, Dorene Shelby and Corene Williams; two sons, Richard Perry and wife, Beverly, of Tulsa, Okla. and Curtis Perry and wife, Amanda, of Hugo; three daughters, Jean Davis and husband, Ronald, of Oklahoma City, Okla., Mary O. Huff of Brookston and Jessica Levingston and husband, Bobby, of Oklahoma City; two uncles, Robert McClure and W.H. Perry; one aunt, Roanna McClure; 11 grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
