PRIDDY, ELSIE JUANITA (RIDENOUR)

BORN: DECEMBER 25, 1925
DIED: APRIL 7, 1989
Elsie Priddy, a resident of Fort Towson, died Friday at Choctaw Memorial Hospital.
She was 63.
Mrs. Priddy was a homemaker by occupation and a member of the Fort Towson Baptist Church.
She was born December 25, 1925 in Boswell, the daughter of Luther Bruce and Ida May (Milligan) Ridenour. She had been a resident of this area for 50 years.
Mrs. Priddy was preceded in death by her husband, E.S. “Sig” Priddy, on May 19, 1974.
Survivors include: seven sons, Josh Priddy of Hugo, John Priddy, Jim Priddy, James Priddy, Jessie Priddy, Jean Priddy and Jeffery Priddy, all of Fort Towson; three daughters, Ida Jackson of Sawyer, Ivaline Morris of Hugo and Inell Nation of Fort Towson; 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Additional survivors include: two brothers, Roy Ridenour of Hugo and Rex Ridenour of Broken Bow; six sisters, Bobbie Greenwalt of Myrtle Creek, Oregon, Lucy Fowler of Bakersfield, California, Daisy Hawthorne of Bakersfield, California, Irene Easterwood of Fort Towson, Oklahoma, Susie Harris of Harris, Oklahoma and Bessie Hammock of Fort Towson, Oklahoma.
Services were held today at 2:00 p.m. in the Fort Towson First Baptist Church. Rev. Bennie Hammons officiated.
Burial was in the Fort Towson Cemetery.
The Lampton-Mills and Coffey Funeral Home of Hugo was in charge of arrangements.
