Services for Sherry Kay Rush will be held Friday, September 12, 2003 at 10 a.m.

Sherry Kay Rush died Tuesday, September 9, 2003 at the Hugo Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was 56.

Sherry Rush was born June 16, 1947 in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of Raymond Noble and Marie “Clark” Noble. She moved to Ft. Towson from Oklahoma City 11 years ago.

She married Gary Rush on April 12, 1985 in Oklahoma City. She loved plants and gardening and enjoyed walking. She was also a caregiver for the older folks in the community.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Noble and one son, Kenneth Kirk.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Rush of the home; three sons, Randy Daniels of Fort Towson, Bryan Roberts of Paris, Texas and Johnny Kirk of Las Vegas, Nevada; two daughters, Toni Moon of Antlers and Jamie Pemberton of Oklahoma City; one sister, Charlene Carney of Mustang, Okla.; two half-brothers, Edward and Carol, both of Texas; and six grandchildren.

Services will be held graveside at the Fort Towson Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Mount Olive Funeral Home.
