SKELTON, OCIE PAULINE (KEONITZER)

DIED: AUGUST 7, 2003

Funeral for Ocie Pauline Skelton, 87, of Cushing will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Dickie Allen Funeral Home Chapel, Cushing, with the Rev. Jean Ferraro officiating. Burial will be in Cushing City Cemetery.

Skelton died Aug. 7, 2003, in Nacogdoches.

Born April 1, 1916, in Smith County, she was the daughter of Paul and Mae Ellen Cates Keonitzer. She was a homemaker. She was married to Raymond Earl Skelton, and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include daughters, Betty Barrett of Emerald Bay and Norma Lee Pitman of Cushing; sons, Ernest LaCaze of Fort Towson, Okla., Rayford Skelton of Houston, Royce Skelton of Normangee and Orvil Skelton of Rufe, Okla.; brother, Paul Keonitzer of Chalis, Wash.; sister, Maybell Cooley of Normangee; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. today.
