DIED: AUGUST 5, 2003

Leonard Stinnett, 88, of Swink, Okla., died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2003, in Choctaw Memorial Hospital in Hugo.

Graveside services are set for 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8, in Swink Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Thornburgh officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Mount Olive Funeral Home in Hugo.

He was born on Dec. 14, 1914, in Swink, the son of Allen and Clara Gregory Stinnett. He had lived in the Swink area all his life. He married Opal Lee Wright on Aug. 25, 1937, in Fort Towson, Okla.

Survivors include one son, Billy Wright of Portland, Ore.; two grandchildren; one sister, Helen Stinnett Reding of Swink; one brother, Willard Stinnett of Swink; two nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
