BORN: AUGUST 13, 1944
DIED: OCTOBER 20, 2001

James William Tramel, 57, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2001, in Amarillo, Texas.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Henson-Novak Funeral Chapel with Neville Buchanan, minister of Hooker Church of Christ, officiating.

Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery.

Mr. Tramel was born in Fort Towson. He was an Army veteran of Vietnam.

Survivors include his wife, Ann; a daughter, Angela Kent of Hooker; a son, Victor James Tramel of Beaumont, Texas; three sisters, Mary DeSpain of Guymon, Lillie Whyte of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Wanda Dockstader of Bothel, Washington; five brothers, Harvey Lee Tramel and Harrison Dennis Tramel, both of Fort Towson, Oklahoma, Joe Richard Tramel of Guymon, Calven Cleveland Tramel of Norman, Ariz. and Dan DeWayne Tramel of Marshall, Ariz.; and two granddaughters.

The family suggests memorials be to:
