DIED: JUNE 2, 2002

Leafie E. Treece, 101, of Lakewood, Calif., formerly of Hugo, Oklahoma, died Sunday, June 2, 2002.

Graveside services are set for 10 a.m. Friday, June 7, 2002 in the Mount Olivet Cemetery Pavilion with the Rev. Wayne Higginbotham officiating. Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

She married William Christian Treece on July 14, 1919.

She was a homemaker and was a very active member of the Southside Baptist Church in Hugo, Okla. for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and five sisters.

She is survived by her son, William Treece of Lakewood, Calif.
