WESSELL, LOVINA (YODER)

DIED: MARCH 30, 2005

Funeral services for Lovina Wessell, 65, of Hartly were held Tuesday, April 5, in the Greensboro Baptist Church, Greensboro, Md. Mrs. Wessell died Wednesday, March 30, 2005 in her home surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Wessell was born on April 8, 1939, in Hartstown, Pa., daughter of Anna H. Yoder and the late David E. Yoder.

Mrs. Wessell had worked for 31 years at General Foods as a machine operator.

She enjoyed sewing, bowling, fishing, walking, doing puzzles and crafts.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Andy Yoder and Jonas Yoder; and her first husband, Ronald G. Blake.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 30 years, William C. Wessell; five children and the spouses of four, Ellis G. and Lisa Blake of Dover, Theresa “Terri” A. and Joe Schrock of Blountville, Tenn., Barbara S. and Hank Otto of Babson Park, Fla., Martha Marie Blake of Hartly, David E. and Sherry Balke of Dover; and four stepchildren, Marcia E. Wessell of Rahway, N.J., William C. Wessell Jr. of Clayton, Bonnie L. Yerkes and her husband Jeff of Pennsylvania, and Marjorie Zarenkiewicz and her husband Steve of Hatfield, Pa.

Mrs. Wessell also is survived by two brothers, John Yoder of Lonestar, Texas, and Paul Yoder of Towson, Okla.; three sisters, Edna Yoder of Dover, Susie Byler of Clayton and Barbara Epley of Jacksonville, Fla.; 22 grandchildren, Clifton, Scott, Joe, Rachael, Jonathan, Kenny, Undray, David, Jennifer, Jason, Rebekah, Jessica, Elizabeth, Bridgette, Jacob, Cynthia, Hilary, Brad, Heather, Shane, Matthew Alec and Jonathan; and three great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were by Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming.

Interment was in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.
