BORN: APRIL 24, 1915
DIED: JULY 25, 2001

Levirn R. White, 86, died Wednesday, July 25, 2001.

Services will be at 3 p.m. today in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Boren, minister of Friona United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Friona Cemetery by Ellis-Blackwell Funeral Home.

Mr. White, a retired carpenter, had lived in Friona since 1929. He was a deacon at the First Baptist Church in Friona.

Survivors include a daughter, Marie Hughlett of Dallas; three sons, Jimmy White of Fort Towson, Okla., Teddy White of Friona and Max White of Lubbock; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Prairie Acres Love Fund, 201 E. 15th, Friona, TX 79035.
