Mrs. Ruth Blackburn Buried Here Sunday

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Blackburn, who succumbed in the Durant Sanitarium, October first, were held in Durant by the Rev. Dudley on Sunday, October 2, and interment made in the Boswell cemetery Sunday, Oct second.
Mrs. Blackburn was the wife of Henry Blackburn. To this union was born three children, Billy Ruth, Henry Clay, and Veta Kathryn Blackburn. Mrs. Blackburn was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M.J. Crowell, for a number of years residents of Cade.
Mrs. Blackburn is survived by five brothers, Marion, Carl, Hugo, Paul and M.J., Junior Crowell, and five sisters, Mrs. W.E. Dodson, Durant; Mrs. Johnie Jackson, of Oklahoma City. Mrs. Harry Pierce, of Boswell, Beth and Jeth, of the Cobb community.
