    Mrs. Joe Halford aged 39 years passes away in her home here Sunday, February 14.

    Mrs. Halford was born in Lee County, Texas, and before her marriage to Joe Halford in 1910, she was Miss Cora King. To this union was born eight children. The six now living are James, Joseph, Nora, Minnie, Raymond and Lloyd.

    Mrs. Halford professed faith in Christ a few years ago and become [sic] a member of the Free Will Baptist church at Sugar Creek, Okla.

    Besides her children, Mrs. Halford is survived by her four brothers and one sister.

    Funeral services were conducted Tuesday by Rev. J.B. Ward and interment was made in the Soper cemetery.
